Mumbai: After years of waiting and craze for the most liked Indian web-series, Mirzapur Season 2 was released on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday night, which excited its fans in its sequel.
However, the worst thing for the makers of the much-loved web series is that it has become one of the latest targets of piracy as the sequel has now been leaked on various pirated movie sites.
According to reports, within hours of the release of the first two episodes of Mirzapur 2, several piracy sites, including TamilRockers, Torrent, YuvaChoffrey and others, uploaded the episodes to their sites.
So far, all 10 episodes of Mirzapur season 2 have been leaked online and all these piracy sites claim to have HD-quality videos of web-series.
Tamil Nadu, which is known for leaking films and series and other content on its website, was among the top uploaders targeting the Mirzapur sequel.
Mirzapur Season 2 is one of the most talked-about original shows on Amazon Prime Video, featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Verma, Divyendu Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Kulbhushan Kharban.
Such development can be extremely difficult for the creators and actors who take into account the troubles and efforts caused by the ongoing covid-19 epidemic. After the film industry, OTT platforms are the new target of such piracy rackets.

The first part revolves around a crime lord named Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) and his empire is accidentally affected when two brothers Guddu Pandit and Bablu Pandit (Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey).
However, later trouble ensues when Kalen Bhaiya's son Munna (Divyendu) is threatened by his presence. Season 2 of the web series continues the battle for the throne of Mirzapur between Munna and Guddu.
